Inspired by our Western roots and a love for all things ‘recycled’, the boot bags are the collaborative effort of 3 Seattle-based artisans.  The purses have evolved from simple to fabulous – capturing the creative talents of all 3 women - a jeweler, a fused glass & a multi media artisan.

In working with customers, the following information may be helpful.  Each bag starts with a vintage cowboy boot top and is embellished with trims, tassels and beaded shoulder straps.  ad lib studios uses semi-precious stones and gemstones, crystal and hand-blown beads, vintage game pieces, fused glass, ceramic and antique buttons, as well as trims. 

The delicate beaded shoulder strap belies its versatility and strength.  The straps are strung on 40-pound test weight  jewelers wire.  The shoulder strap is designed with clasps to come off the bag and be worn as jewelry or switched out with another strap for versatility.  ad lib studios can shorten or lengthen the beaded strap. We offer our customers a one-year warranty on the straps and closures.  Further repairs can be accomplished at a nominal charge.

We welcome special orders and are happy to capture a memory by creating a bag from a special pair of boots or buttons.  When a boot is supplied by the customer, a credit may be applied toward the purchase of a custom bag.  Payment for such orders is due at the time of the order and is non-refundable.
